Service Description
Transient Slip Requests Transient slips at Dalhousie Yacht Club are available on a short‑term, request basis for visiting boats. Submitting this form places a request for the selected date only. Requests are not automatically approved or confirmed. After your request is received: The Harbour Office will review availability Boat details and visit dates will be verified You will be contacted to confirm whether a transient slip can be assigned Please submit one request per day you wish to visit. Arrival and departure timing will be confirmed during follow‑up. The time shown on your request is for scheduling purposes only.
Cancellation Policy
Reservation & Cancellation Policy To ensure fair access to limited guest slips and to avoid turning away visiting boats unnecessarily, a credit card is required to hold all reservations. We understand that plans can change. Cancellations made 72 hours or more before the scheduled arrival time will not incur any fee, and the reserved slip will be made available to other visiting boats. Because we reserve a slip specifically for your arrival and may turn away other visitors once slips are fully booked, late cancellations (within 72 hours) or no‑shows may result in a $15 cancellation fee. If you arrive as scheduled, no fee is charged at booking. Dockage fees, if applicable, are assessed at arrival based on visitor status (e.g., reciprocal privileges or per‑foot rates). Thank you for helping us manage dock availability fairly and ensure visiting boaters are accommodated whenever possible.
