We look forward to your visit!
We welcome you to DYC! Our club is nestled along the Harbour in Port Dalhousie, a charming waterfront community where history meets tranquility along the shores of Lake Ontario.

Explore Maritime History
The legacy and heritage of Port Dalhousie's maritime and industrial past, which dates back to1826 and the construction of the first Welland Canals, have been proudly preserved by the local community. For more than 100 years, our Harbour was the northern terminus of the first three Welland canals. Walk along the piers to see the iconic lighthouses, including the Inner Range Lighthouse - one of just six wooden octagonal lighthouses remaining on the Canadian side of the Great Lakes.
Many remnants of the old Welland Canals have been preserved and adapted into the built heritage of Port Dalhousie and can be seen throughout our club's docks and grounds.
Lakeside Park & Carousel
Across from our clubhouse, Lakeside Park offers a beautiful sandy beach with stunning panoramic views of Lake Ontario. Made famous by Neil Peart of Rush, the municipal park is adorned with century-old trees, picnic areas, a pavilion, and is home to a historic .05 cent Carousel. Lakeside Park has a proud history as a summer gathering place for over a century, including the annual Emancipation Day picnic attended by thousands of Black people to recognize the anniversary of the end of slavery in British territories.

The park hosts many festivals and events all year, including the weekly Port Dalhousie Supper Market.
