Kiwanis Duck Race
Already a Father’s Day tradition, the annual Kiwanis Duck Race held in Port Dalhousie where 10,000 Rubber Duck are released by the Mayor of St. Catharines. With the help of sponsors and the community the Duck Race generates 40,000 to 40,000 for the community.

Already a Father’s Day tradition, the annual Kiwanis Duck Race held in Port Dalhousie where 10,000 Rubber Duck are released by the Mayor of St. Catharines using a long rope about 3 to 4 stories in the air into the water in front of the Port Dalhousie Yacht Club and race their way to the finish line near the lighthouse on the “East Side” as we like to call it. Where we pluck the fastest ducks! Prizes each year are generally from 15,000 to 20,000 dollars each year. With the help of sponsors and the community the Duck Race generates 40,000 to 40,000 for the community.
