DYC Haul out with the club's travel lift is a member-run operation that typically takes between 3 days throughout two weekends. Many hands, many eyes and many brains are the key to achieving success.

Haul Out Schedule flexibility

The order in which DYC boats are hauled out is largely predetermined by the order in which they need to be placed in the storage yard by the travel lift from the previous launch. Generally boats with masts up also come out first. A rough estimate schedule of each boat's haul-out will be updated as boats are hauled-out and can be viewed by members online here.

Weather permitting, boats are hauled out continuously from 7:30 am to 5:30pm on each day. This means that if the haul-out sequence is ahead of schedule members initially scheduled to haul-out on the next day may be asked to haul-out a day sooner. Similarly, if the…
