  • Provide a summary of our events / activities held throughout the year       (typically)
  • Highlight some of the many committees and volunteer positions available
• Docks In and Slip Assignments – (Leigh)
  • Assignments – Slips are assigned to you and may change as we       continue to gain new boating members
  • Provide codes for our facilities, gates, and WIFI
  • Docks In – Provide an quick overview and set expectations for all       to participate in one way shape or form
• Boat Launch (Alan / Dave Pressley)
  • Give and Update status of our travel lift and Dock project
  • Member coordination with Travel Lift Crew necessary for a successful       first launch with our new travel lift and Dock
• Docking Etiquette (Dave Bellhouse)
  • Putting fenders out on both sides of your boat while docked
  • Offer assistance to members and transient boaters docking
• Boat knowledge and Skills training (Paul)
  • Paul Fagan will be offering a number of boat knowledge, radio and       sailing courses
• Yard Cleanup (Alan)
  • Breakdown cradles, Take away all trash, Trailers are to be kept in       A Yard leaving C open for the Travel lift to move freely
• Racing (Len)
  • DYC Racing – Fun Racing is a go but will we see the return of our       beloved Wednesday night racing (Len / Simon)
• Cruising (Val)
  • Club Cruising – Plans are under way but any one cruise could be cancelled       / rescheduled last minute do to any Covid Restrictions.
• Club House and Restaurant
  • Restaurant Pilot (Jeff)
• New DYC Staff (Lew)
